Created in 1994 by the Baldi family in the village of Staffollo, an area with a notably high elevation for the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOCG, La Staffa is now making some of the most breathtaking mineral-driven wines in the appellation. Pale straw in colour, this wine is very aromatic with notes of citrus, green apple and almond on the nose and similar flavours on the palette. This wine is medium bodied with great acidity and a lovely finish.
