100% Nebbiolo from the widely acclaimed 2016 vintage, from the famed Cru Ravera, a site which typically produces Barolos of elegant precision and intense minerality. The wines tend to age incredibly well and with changing climate conditions this is fast becoming one of the most exciting vineyards in the whole region. The 2016 was destemmed and macerated for a few days, then fermented in French oak tonneau for about 10 days with regular punch-downs and pump-overs. Post-fermentative maceration for about 3-4 weeks.
"A firm, silky red with plum, strawberry, chocolate and hazelnut character. It’s full-bodied. Energetic and linear in the center palate. Better after 2023."
