Yetti and the Kokonut

South Australia

Meet Yetti and the Kokonut, aka Dave and Koen. They started making wine together in South Australia in 2015 and their interesting wines are now finally arriving in Canada. All grapes handled by the two friends are sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards, and they use natural winemaking methods in the winery.

Their Mt. Savagnin is a 100% varietal Savagnin, from biodynamically farmed grapes grown in the McLaren Vale. The sea breeze helps the vines stay cool, resulting in a very refreshing wine. The juice is left in contact with the skins for five days to add texture, and, as Yetti and the Kokonut describe it, “mineral complexity dancing like a ballerina on top of it”. It has been received extremely well and we’re excited to introduce this fascinating wine to all wine lovers in Ontario.

We currently have no Yetti and the Kokonut wines in stock.
