Macon-Bussieres Cuvee "Claude Seigneuret"
Producer: Domaine de la Saraziniere
From the estate’s oldest vines, the wine is made up of four hilltop plots planted in 1926 over limestone soils, facing south. It is vinified and raised in 10% new barrels and 90% in barrels between their first and eighth passages. It is bottled with minimal sulphur. Bright, textured and mineral-driven with a lovely ripe stone fruit profile balanced by fresh acidity and delicate creaminess, this is the ultimate Burgundy for those who wish to avoid Burgundy pricing.
